I'm Alex. I'm a preacher in my heart and for my work- basically, I get to do what I love. Ironically enough, there are times when I don't have words for what I'm thinking or feeling, or can't say those things to anyone... and that's what this blog is.
Do I like tea- Nope.
What cologne do I wear- Aqua Di Gio- Georgio Armani.
Book with a strong impact on me- The Bible, of course. =]
Who was the last person you sent a letter to- Danielle!
What in your life am I most grateful for- There isn’t really a lot I’m not grateful for, honestly! Probably the people I’ve met and and gotten to know (like Jesus)!
Would I change my name if I could- I wanted to for a long time; I think I’d change my middle name so that I had a really rad author name- A.L. Schwartz doesn’t sound very good.
Favorite Month- I have no idea.
At a movie theatre, what armrest is mine- Usually the right, I think! I’m not sure, the last movie I saw in a theatre was in the summer, so I can’t remember!
What’s a band a family member introduced me to- My Dad has introduced me to basically every rock band from the early 60’s to the early 80’s. I owe him everything for my classic rock tastes.
Can I make paper snowflakes- Not pretty ones!
What was the name of your first stuffed animal- Barney.
Ever been on a boat in the ocean- Yep.
Would you rather be overdressed or underdressed at a party- Overdressed, though the motivation to get “dressy” often escapes me in the moment. So, in theory overdressed, though I’m probably underdressed more often than not.
Favorite thing about me- What a self-serving question! Uh, I like my beard and stuff
Spirit Animal- Wolf. Or Bear. Or Owl. Or Moose/Elk/Angry Killer Deer.
Least favorite vegetable- Asparagus. Why people even eat that thing is BEYOND me
What color are my socks right now- Teal and green wool knee-highs.
If I had unlimited money to one shop, what shop would it be- That’s a tossup between a few. H&M, Bass Pro Shops, REI, Vans, and Patagonia all come to mind.
Allergic to anything- Not that I know of! Nothing serious anyway.
Top three favorite bands- of all time? Parkway Drive is up there. Also The Devil Wears Prada. Right now, what I’m listening to the most is From Indian Lakes, Moving Mountains, and Hundredth.
Do I want children- Someday, Lord willing!
Can I whistle- Poorly!
Do I like accents- Oh my goodness yes. Australian and Irish are my favorites, though I’m really entertained by the Minnesota/Canada one too!
There aren’t a whole lot of things I’m excited to wait for- I could probably number the list on one hand.
But oh, those things… WELL worth the wait.
